Project Title-
Community Based Mass Screening Programme for General Health problems with emphasis on Ovarian Cancer & Relationship of risk factors of vitamin D amongst population belongs to rural / underprivileged society.
During January – February, 2024 at Village Gadi Chokhandi, Noida.
Objective
The aim and objective of this initiative to bridge the healthcare gap in underprivileged communities, emphasizing Ovarian and Cervical Cancer awareness, early detection, and the role of Vitamin D in maintaining optimal health. The initiative carried out with the following objectives:-
Raise awareness about Ovarian and Cervical Cancer and its preventive measures.
Educate the community about the significance of Vitamin D and its risk factors.
Provide comprehensive healthcare services to the marginalized population of Village / Area.
Number of Patient screened for Ovarian Cancer-
218 Female beneficiaries between the age group of 25 years to 65 years.
Number of Patient screened for Vitamin D3
218 Female patients between the age group of 25 years to 65 years.
Number of Patient provided OPD Consultation- 250
Number of Patient provided Sanitary Pads-250 Female beneficiaries were provided Sanitary Pads.
Other community health activities
(o) Health talk on Menstrual Hygiene;
(p) Health talk on Iron Deficiency Anaemia;
(q)Health talk on Cancers in female.
More then 1000+ females of between the age group of 25 years to 65 years were imparted information / awareness on Menstrual Hygiene, Iron Deficiency Anaemia and on Cancers in Female.
Around 55% participants Diagnosed with deficiency of Vitamin D and accordingly , Doctors advised them the medicine.
